What began with our cozy cottage has become a place close to our hearts—thanks to you. Your enthusiasm and kind words have inspired us to create even more for you.

After two years of intensive planning, we are thrilled to announce: The Hideaway Madeira is growing! Construction has begun and in the summer of 2026, we will open our doors.

Our new boutique resort is taking shape—just like our cottage—in Prazeres, the charming farming village on Madeira’s south coast. Not far from our first beloved holiday home, we are creating a place to breathe, arrive and dream: six stylish bungalows, harmoniously embedded in nature, each with a private garden and breathtaking ocean views. A true floral oasis on the island of flowers.

Pure relaxation awaits you at the pool, in the soothing whirlpool and in our small yet refined spa area. Culinary delights from the region and authentic encounters will allow you to experience Madeira up close and discover the island in all its facets.
